Yesterday, after a walk around the block … painted the house last fall and garage door keypad not yet reinstalled. Front door keypad worked to lock the door when we left, but dead battery when we returned. Left both of our phones in the house. All cars in the garage with openers inside. $61 later the locksmith had us drilled back into the house. Neither daughter had a key because we told them to use the keypad. Also, we had to use the neighbor’s borrowed phone, which daughter Brandi didn’t recognize, so obviously didn’t answer. We had to text her to please call her mother back on this strange number. Thanks to both local daughters and son-in-law for trying to help out without laughing at us too hard. Loving our new technology!
